Not Sure If What You Have Found Is Termites?

Plenty of the jobs we attend start with someone who is not certain. Ant activity, borer damage and old inactive workings all get mistaken for live termites, and a live colony sometimes shows almost nothing on the surface. A termite inspection carried out to AS 4349.3 settles it either way, and you get the findings in writing with photographs.

Termite Extermination

Why Termite Treatment Cannot Wait

How We Treat Active Termites In Perth

Chemical Termite Barriers

Chemical Termite Barriers

We apply high-performance liquid termiticides around your property’s perimeter and under the slab to create a chemical termite barrier that termites cannot cross. This invisible shield kills termites on contact and prevents them from returning, offering years of protection when maintained correctly.

Pre-Construction Termit Treatment

Physical Termite Barriers

Installed during construction, physical termite barriers use stainless steel mesh or crushed granite to block termite entry points beneath your home. These non-toxic systems are built to last and provide long-term structural protection for new homes and renovations.

Termite Reticulation System

Reticulation Systems

We install termite reticulation systems pipes beneath the foundation or around your home that allow for easy re-application of liquid termiticides without the need for drilling or trenching. This system ensures convenient, consistent, and ongoing termite protection.

Signs of Termites in a Perth Home

Termite Swarmers Presence

Termite swarmers are winged insects that emerge from the colony to mate and form new colonies. Their presence around windows or doors indicates an active infestation. It’s important to act quickly if you spot these swarmers.

Mud Tubes

Termites create mud tubes to travel between their nest and a food source, such as wood. These tubes can be found in walls, foundations, and beams, indicating that termites are feeding on your property.

Hollow-Sounding Wood

Termites feed on wood, leaving it hollow. If you knock on wooden surfaces and they sound weak or hollow, termites may have been feeding inside. This damage might be unnoticeable without a thorough inspection.

Damaged skirtings, door frames and architraves

Termites eat timber from the inside out and leave the paint layer intact, so damage often shows as a blistered, rippled or sunken patch on a skirting board or door frame. Press it gently. If it gives way, stop pressing and call before you disturb it further.

I have used many pest control companies in the past, and although I was skeptical using a new pest guy for my house Daniel has delivered above and beyond. Not only has he got a lovely character but he came out again 2 weeks after his initial spray to redo the whole house because bugs were coming out from his initial spray at no charge at all. I would highly recommend and use him over again any day. Definitely worth every money spent.

Wow oh wow, I did not expect to come home to dead bodies everywhere and no I don’t mean because it’s near Halloween. I mean spider bodies. I was so annoyed with everytime I go outside spiders everywhere. So I contacted Daniel and he came out the next week, great service, great guy, plus he cleaned all the cobwebs and love how he said it’s like vegan so safe for our cats as they are our babies. This is the best thing we have done to the outside and love the fact the spiders are now all gone. Highly recommended. Thanks heaps Dan

Process

Our Process for Termite Treatment

Termite Inspection

The process begins with a professional termite inspection of your property to identify signs of active termites and possible access points. Our technicians will provide a comprehensive report of their findings.

Treatment plan and quote

A written plan setting out the method, the products, the timeframe, what access we need, what you need to do before we arrive, and a fixed price. No work starts until you've approved it.

Treatment

Carried out to AS 3660.2 using APVMA-registered products applied strictly to label. We'll tell you before we start what to move, how long to keep pets and children out of the treated area, and when it's safe to reoccupy.

Post-Treatment Disinfection

After termite extermination, we carry out a follow-up disinfection process to ensure your home is free of any remaining infestation. This helps preserve the integrity of your property.

Why Choose

Why Choose Our Termite Control Service?

Termite work is not a job to hand to a call centre. You want the person who assesses the property to be the person who treats it, and you want to see the reasoning in writing before you commit to anything. That is how we have run this business for 15 years across the Perth metro area.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should I schedule termite inspections?

Once a year for most Perth homes, and more often if you have had activity before, back onto bushland, or have a garden with a lot of stored timber, stumps or retaining walls. An annual inspection is also a condition of most termite management warranties, so skipping one can leave you without cover.

The treatment itself is usually done in a day. Colony elimination takes longer, generally a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on the size of the colony and the time of year, because the bait has to move through the whole nest. We monitor it rather than leaving you to guess.

The products we use are APVMA registered and safe when applied to label, which is what licensing exists to ensure. Before we start, we will tell you which areas to keep pets and children away from and for how long, and when it is safe to go back to normal.

It depends on how far the activity has spread, the treatment method, the size and construction of the property, and whether protection is installed afterwards. We quote a fixed price rather than an hourly rate, usually on the phone once you have described what you have found. Access matters too, since concrete, decking and paving that needs drilling or lifting adds time.

Yes. A termite barrier is effective, but it needs regular checks from a qualified pest controller to ensure it’s intact. Ongoing white ants control visits provide long-term protection, giving you peace of mind that your home is safe from costly termite damage.

Yes. Pest control covers a wide range of pests, but termites often require a specialised timber pest inspection. This detailed process identifies hidden termite infestation early, allowing effective treatment that protects your home’s structure and provides lasting peace of mind.

No. Spraying kills the ones you can see and alerts the rest of the colony, which then seals off that area and moves somewhere else in your house. Live, undisturbed termites are what let us carry treatment back to the nest, so spraying often turns a straightforward job into a difficult one. Leave them alone and call us.

Yes. White ants and termites are the same thing. The name has stuck in WA even though they are not related to ants at all. If someone has told you that you have white ants in a Perth home, they mean termites, and it should be looked at.
